Electric vehicles are supposed to be light and aerodynamic? Well, that’s a stereotype though there is a reason for this in that electric vehicles have “little” power due to the lesser power density of batteries compared to gasoline or diesel fuels. Actually there are plenty of examples of huge electric vehicles — most subway systems are electrically driven, but they do this by relying on not using on-board batteries and instead the “third rail” to provide the tremendous energy required to move a train.
