Thank you for this bit of reading, I've just moved to college and am hoping to begin practicing yoga in earnest, however I felt a bit uncoordinated as to how to begin practicing. My dorm room may feel like a bit of a cell, but with a bit of work it already feels a lot more comfortable to do yoga in and just to sit around in.

There is a huge difference between nuclear weapons and nuclear energy. It's like saying we should outlaw batteries because you can make bullets from the lead in car batteries.

Nuclear energy has been safely and efficiently providing power to the West for 50 years. No one has died from a nuclear-related accident in any western country. Compare that to fossil fuels with as estimated 15,000 lives per year death toll.

You probably already know that nuclear energy is just about the lowest cost producer of baseload electricity on the planet. It produces over 74% of the low-carbon energy in the United States - responsible for the avoidance of 800 million tons of CO2 per year. That's about the same as removing every passenger car in the United States from the road!

You probably also know that nuclear power supplies electricity to one in every five homes and businesses in the United States.

Finally, it should also be known that nuclear power produces a tiny amount of waste, and the best news of all is that over 95% of it can be recycled and used again.

Countries like France, Sweden, Germany, and Japan have left us in the dust in nuclear technology and enjoyed huge benefits and cleaner air as a result.

It's about time we reclaim some of those benefits.

I first came to yoga, I was committed to a balanced workout regime. I alternated weights (resistance bands, actually) and aerobics. The benefit of this was that I felt strong and fit. The downside was that I was often hurting myself (pulling/straining muscles, etc.). Then I began practicing yoga regularly. My first 90-minute power/Vinyasa flow yoga class blew me away. The class consisted of 45 minutes of Sun Salutation variations followed by 45 minutes of balance and then floor postures.

Why are they asking MSM if they are willing to be circumcised, when these studies found NO protective effect to insertive MSMs -
* Grulich et al. (Circumcision and male-to-male sexual transmission of HIV, AIDS 2001 Jun 15;15(9):1188-1189)
* Millett et al. (JAIDS Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes. 46(5):643-650, December 15, 2007)
* Mor et al. (Declining Rates in Male Circumcision amidst Increasing Evidence of its Public Health Benefit [its title flies in the face of its contents] (2007) Benefit. PLoS ONE 2(9) )
- and circumcision rather obviously does not protect receptive MSMs?

Some people just like circumcision.

I am shopping the web to find my next car purchase. I want to buy a total elecric vehicle with the range of this vehicle. I know it has been hard but these greedy warmungers have to be shut up our very survival is at stake. The polar caps are melting and we have had the technology here since the gasoline engine and gas was only 5 cents. Computers could have been put to work on the solution of this problem at places like MIT and solved by now. What is the holdup ...greed!
